As the maintainer of the Belle II validation framework I was responsible for tests covering the working and overall performance of the Belle II software. Each software package provides a selection of scripts (Python or C++) that run on small scale realistic data samples. The validation framework resolves dependencies between these scripts, executes them on a central server and uses different metrics to detect inconsistentencies and performance degradations. The results are visualized on a dynamic website.
